My wife and I found the place by googling halal fish and chips decided to give this place a try and very glad we did. The menu was excellent we had chicken and waffles and fish and chips everything was delicious. The brewed African coffee was excellent, only wish we had a few more days to try out everything on the menu. The brothers were warm and friendly to us. Highly recommend.

It’s small so most customers take their order to go. I order the fish and chips. I enjoyed the fish and the wheat roll. Fries where salted with some seasoning salt. The only negative is that they put raisins in their coleslaw.

All food is Halal here...we ordered beef burger and fried chicken. It's worth the price. The best thing I admire is the choice of brown bread on the burger. We later tried their bean pie.. it tastes so good that we decided to come back for more.!!! 5 stars for the food in this price and for the service. It has outdoor sitting arrangements at its best with the view of the San Gabriel mountain.

UEDF was in a kind of blind spot for us. We've been past it hundreds of times and suddenly the veil was lifted and we could see it. A spot so interesting we had to give it a try. Found a wonderfully authentic place run by an authentic gentleman. Got a 2 piece fish and chips, it was great! I've never been a coleslaw person, and not really a raisin person, but their raisins mixed in brought a sweetness that gave me a surprising balance that I'll be coming back for! He strongly recommended their bean pie, and sure enough it was delicious. If you've not had a preservative free bean pie, don't miss the rare opportunity.

Quick and tasty! There is a little bit of outdoor seating but chose to sit in my car because it was a little chilly. I Will definitely come back!
